Stages for manufacture

The time finally came to put the muscles in place. Well, at least what I guess muscles look like and I what I guess their place is. Figuring out what color to make them was probably the hardest part. Apparently there're white bits and stuff. Well, I think the general idea gets across at least. The placements of the exposed regions could have probably been better chosen, showing more interesting parts of the musculature or something, or make it seem more three dimensional. But, maybe next time?

When that finally got to be too much thinking, I decided to do the little control room some more. Doing smaller areas always seems a bit easier. Partly cause I tend to choose simpler lighting schemes for these areas, its a bit easier to get these things looking right. Them being so small doesn't hurt either I guess. Maybe its because there is less pressure knowing that there is even less chance these parts will be scrutinized than the rest of the painting.
